The organizers behind the DARKADYA, multi-volume illustrated book featuring dark, esoteric, occult artists from around the world are hosting an award series dubbed the “Black Stars Awards, including groundbreaking blood-painting surrealist Vincent Castiglia.
Fans can vote for Vincent in the “Fan’s Choice” category here until May 22, 2016 at 11:58 pm EST. He is also in the running for the “Master Artist” award, with the judging panel consisting of representatives from Metal Blade Records, Decibel Magazine, Bloodstock Festival and RAM Museum, as well as Steve Wang and Mike Hill, Hollywood Special Effects artists. The criteria of judgment includes concept, creativity, originality, precision, arrangement and overall impression.
