Los Angeles world music influenced alt metallers Blackmore, fronted by Greek lead vocalist K’noup (Viza) is streaming their music video for “72,” produced and directed by Noel Ross, and off of their upcoming album NEO below.
K’noup has spent years as a seasoned frontman touring alongside bands such as Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Skindred and Gogol Bordello.
NEO was produced by Yury Anisonyan and mastered by Maor Appelbaum at Maor Appelbaum Mastering (Faith No More, Sepultura, Halford, Cynic).
In reference to the video, vocalist K’noup states,
“72” was filmed in a warehouse in downtown LA during the late hours, capturing the raw energy the band brings forth.”
K’noup is glad to see the fruits of the band’s labor, having recently joined as a new member.
“We came together when I was asked to track vocals for a compilation concept album shortly after BLACKMORE’s former singer had to leave. What we created thereafter was the track “Tsunami”. The immediate chemistry within the new line-up inspired us to continue to where we currently are. Music to me is never meant to be questioned no matter what the circumstance.”
