Yeah… mutherfucker is crazy.

After many years with one of the most respected bands in heavy metal, his post-Pantera work found him laying down the low end for moody grease rockers Kill Devil Hill.

But what many might not have known… Rex can sing. Dark and sultry, with a road worn grit underneath. He stepped up front to do a solo album that dropped in June of 2017. Entitled, “Smoke On This”, the release features grimy guitars, haunting vocals and just a slight twang of country.

Check out a preview of the album with the track, ‘Buried Alive’.

And here is another greasy rocker called, ‘Train Song’.

And here is one more off the new album… and the AC/DC influence is showing hard with ‘Crossing Lines’.
