Death Duo Deity Drop Diabolic Debut

This is the unholy duo that is Deity.

DEITY

Toronto Death Metal, as black as the worthless soul that spat you out into this unclean world.

Technically complex, with demonic speed tempos, and the growls and howls of countless disemboweled souls screaming in unison.

A few small animals were sacrificed, bathed in mixture of Molson and poutine, set ablaze, then slapped into a pile of raw vinyl. When the black ooze finally cooled, it had taken the form of an album.

Deity Beginning of

Prophecies fulfilled by the core of Deity, Danny Alessandro (guitars/vocals) and John Massey (guitars/vocals).

To make the spell work, fellow druids Flo Mounier (Cryptopsy) hit the drums and Flo Ravet (ex-Nephelium) provided bass for this summoning.

Words from the creator:  “We formed about 15 years ago…Myself and John have always been the core of Deity. We had both been working on other projects till we felt the need to finally go in and finish this album about 3 years ago. We’ve known each other for about 20 years. We got tired of working on metal that wasn’t true to us. This is an album we’ve always wanted to hear!” – Danny Alessandro.
