Weed infused wine

This is Canna Vine.

It is exclusively produced by Mary Jane Wines, who produce a variety of wines and grape juice.

But before you go trading in your glass bong for a wine glass…. the first caveat is to understand the primary marijuana ingredient is hemp CBD, which does not get you ‘high’ like the psychoactive THC does, which is found most densely in the flowers of the plants (or the ‘buds’).

While CBD won’t make crappy music sound any better like its cousin THC, studies suggest hemp CBD does have a range of medicinal effects. However, scientific tests have mostly been performed on animals at this point, so the facts are still emerging on the exact health benefits hemp CBD provides.

Medical Properties of CBD

Antiemetic – Reduces nausea and vomiting
Anticonvulsant  – Suppresses seizure activity
Antipsychotic – Combats psychosis disorders
Anti-inflammatory – Combats inflammatory disorders
Anti-oxidant – Combats neurodegenerative disorders
Anti-tumoral/Anti-cancer – Combats tumor and cancer cells
Anxiolytic/Anti-depressant – Combats anxiety and depression disorders

This is NOT how they make Mary Jane Wine.

A few other points of note for potential customers…

  • It is only available in CA.
  • You will need a prescription to be eligible to purchase Canna Vine.
  • You will also need a good paying job, because reports are quoting a bottle at anywhere from $240 to $800.

At this point, the Cannabis Cabernet is not exactly available to the mass market, but I am sure if successful, others will follow this path. They might get lost, wander around for awhile, forget where they were going originally… but they’ll eventually show up. And they are going to have the munchies.
