Hot Like Lava: The band’s hometown straddles a volcanic field with over 50 volcanic vents that take the form of lakes and lagoons, some of which still remain dormant to this day.

These guys from down under have been creating a huge buzz for themselves Stateside since they turned heads at SXSW. Their Steve Albini produced debut is a noisy, eclectic mixture of raw post-punk and indy rock with the amps turned to 11. Frontman Andrew Wilson utilizes a loud/soft vocal delivery and is complimented by the punchy bass lines and jagged guitar riffs that pierce dramatically. The frantic ear-splitting dynamics give them a sense of urgency that is hard to ignore.
